My research passion is historical biography. I focus not only on its methodological aspects (how to do biography), but also on the specific background of this approach (the ideas behind it), while the second part of my research interest is closely connected to philosophy and historiography or philosophy of history. However, my interest in biography is not as abstract as it may seem; it has always been an integral part of my individual researches, that cover the period from the Austria-Hungary Empire until contemporary Czech Republic.
